6 Month Wrap Up

For the two of you who actually read this, enjoy!!!  :)  Alivia's six month birthday found us thinking about all of the things that we have done with her so far in such a short amount of time.  With Tony back at work and volleyball started, there's a lot of Liv and Mom time.  I'm so glad to be spending this time with her.  Here are some memorable events from month 6.

Alivia:

- is 14 lbs, 6 oz. and is 26 1/4 inches long
- can hold herself up in a sitting position on her own
- is on the move by rolling all over the place
- is starting to scoot and/or army crawl in the direction of toys or other objects (like iPads)
- is a chatterbox
- has started to growl
- laughs and giggles loudly
- squeals when she wants something
- has started eating purees
- has been to her first (and second, and third, ...) volleyball games
- has experienced "stranger danger" (not with actual strangers)
- loves her exersaucer
- slept through the night after some sleep training (Yaaaay!!!)
- isn't a good passenger in the car anymore
- is way more excited about hanging out with Dad than Mom
- has a tiny bit of green in her eyes that were blue for so long
- has moved out of many 3 month clothes and into some 6 month
- loves, loves, loves to swim or just be in water
- likes to play with the iPad
- manipulates her electronic toys or toys with movable parts
- took her first "jog"
